What is Booticamp Babes?

Booticamp Babes is a four-week exercise and nutrition programmes designed to help you build muscle, lose fat and significantly increase your level of fitness in just four weeks. If you attend all twelve exercise sessions (three per week) and follow the nutrition plan, we guarantee that you will drop a dress (or jeans) size – and if you don’t, we’ll give you your money back!
BootiCamp Babes training sessions last for an hour.  Each starts with a dynamic warm up and stretching programme to ensure muscles are prepared for exercise and not at risk of injury.
 
There is then a warm up exercise to get everyone in the mood before the main challenge of the session begins.  You will need to challenge yourself to work hard and to capacity in timed intervals.
 
Exercises are done individually, in groups and in pairs.  We vary every session to challenge you and keep you on your toes.  You work against your own body weight to the limit of your potential.  Each exercise can be modified for the individual and then intensified as strength and flexibility develops.
 
You will be working all the major muscle groups: your core, your abs, your arms, your legs, your back.  Our aim is to help you to burn fat, build muscle, speed up your metabolism and tone up.

Will I be fit enough to attend the sessions and what type of exercises are involved?

Booticamp has been designed to accommodate women of all fitness levels and ages. From those that haven’t exercised, since school to the regular gym goers who are fed up with a routine that doesn't get results! Everybody works out at their own pace and is supported by our instructors.

You’ll sweat.   You’ll ache.   But You will get support.   And You will get results.

What do I need to bring?

Most our Booticamp sessions take place inside however in the summer months and when the weather is fine we train outside, on these ocassions you’ll need to dress appropriately for the weather conditions: wear warm, comfortable layers that you don’t mind getting wet or muddy, waterproofs if it’s wet (or suncream if we’re very lucky in the spring or summer!) and supportive trainers.

You do not need a lot of expensive equipment, though many ladies wear palm-padded ‘cycling type’ fingerless gloves to cushion their hands during the floor exercises.  A thin, yoga-type mat/towel may also be an advantage to protect elbows and knees.  Loose, comfortable clothing is recommended, and quality, well fitted trainers are a must for all new recruits.  Do bring along a bottle of water.  It is important to rehydrate throughout the session.If you have any medication that helps you during exercise, e.g. asthma inhaler, then please ensure that you bring it with you to the sessions.

What does the nutrition plan involve?

The nutrition plan that accompanies the exercise sessions is a very important aspect of Booticamp. It’s not a diet, in the sense that there is no calorie-counting or food-weighing to be done: in fact, you can eat as much as you want, as long as you eat the right foods!

During the four week Booticamp, you will cut out from your diet wheat and dairy products, all refined sugar, caffeine and alcohol. This is so you get the best results possible!
You will eat brown rice, salads, fruits, vegetables, meat, fish and nuts. We will give you a weekly meal plan to follow which includes recipes that can be adapted to feed the rest of your family, and we regularly post new recipes during the course of the Booticamp.

What can I expect to achieve?

If you attend all 12 of your Bootcamp sessions and work hard, and follow the nutrition plan, you can fully expect to drop a dress or jeans size in four weeks. We are so confident that you will see this sort of result that if you don’t achieve it, we’ll give you your *money back!

When and where do Bootcamps run?

We currently offer Booticamps in Derby, Belper, Ripley and Long Eaton. We hope to be able to increase the number of locations where we offer Booticamps in the very near future.

Can I try before I buy?

YES!

We run regular ‘taster weeks’, which you can attend completely FREEof charge to help you decide whether Booticamp Babes is right for you. A taster week includes three exercise sessions and a lose 7lbs in 7 day nutrition plan. By attending all three sessions, you should get a really good feel for what’s involved, and what you might be able to achieve by the end of four weeks at Booticamp.

How much does Bootcamp cost?

We have four different types of Booticamp Babes packages available.   

All our packages include instructor-led exercise sessions and the nutrition plan, our Platinum, Gold and Silver packages give you access to an online Facebook group where you can chat and share tips and ideas with other Booticamp Babes, plus access to as much support and advice as you need to make the most of your time at Booticamp, maximising your losses (pounds and inches) and gains (muscle and fitness).  See Packages

Memberships must be taken out on a standing order. This will come out of the bank account on the 28th of each month. If your circumstances change and you wish to cancel you will need to give us a months written notice.
